What pilots ask most often
What class of certificate do I need?
Choose the service that matches your certificate: Class 1 or Class 2 for pilots, cabin crew for cabin crew members, Class 3 for air traffic control and information personnel (booking is made through ROMATSA). Each one has an initial examination and a revalidation or renewal. If you are not sure, call us.
How do I prepare for the examination?
Please bring your identity document, your glasses or lenses if you wear them, and your previous medical certificate. The clinic will confirm any additional preparation instructions when you book.
How long until I receive my certificate?
The result and the issue date are decided by the aero-medical examiner, depending on the examination.
How do I pay?
Payment is made at the clinic. You pay nothing in advance online. Reception will confirm the payment methods accepted.
Can I change or cancel an appointment?
Yes, with your booking code, from the "Manage your booking" page. You can reschedule or cancel online at any time, until you check in at the clinic.
Is Class 3 booked online?
No. Class 3 examinations, for air traffic control and information personnel, are not booked online. To book, please contact the ROMATSA representative.
Can I choose the aero-medical examiner?
Yes. On a doctor's page, the "Book with …" button opens the calendar filtered for that doctor: you see only the days when they see patients. You can also book without choosing a doctor.
